Cloud Mouth-That ghost is always with me

Cloud mouth is a noisy screamo band from chicago. They vaguely remind me of Daniel striped tiger for some reason. This album grooves hard.
Also, I got busy weekend ahead of me so I probably won't be posting again until next week or so.

William Bonney-Good Vibes

"New band from members of Merchant Ships and Midwest Pen Pals. Raw. Emotional. Twinkly. Heavy fucking boners will be had.

This is their newest release, but it does feature some of the songs from the demo. Whatever it still rocks hard.

1994!-Most Deaf

This is the new 7" from lancaster based mathcore(?) band 1994!. They have a really unique sound it's fuzzy and groovy. This 7" sounds raw too, which works with their sound. The two songs on here are tighter than anything else they've released in my opinon.

Grown Ups-Hand Holder EP

Algernon Cadwallader-Some kind of Cadwallader LP

Bitchin' Beard. Anyway this is Algernon Cadwallader's debut LP Some kind of Cadwallader. They have the same unique sound as always but it's a little more raw on this album, the vocals are passionate and a little more off key than in parrot flies, and the guitars have a little more twang to them. I personally love this album and this band.

Algernon Cadwallader-Some kind of cadwallader

Ten Thousand Leages-Demo

Sweet, sweet jams here. Screamo from some of the dudes in Moldar and a  few other groups I think. I'm definately a little late posting this but whatever. Get on this if you don't already have it.

Boys & Sex-Self Titled EP

Boys and Sex is another Cassilis/Boy problems project. They have some fuzzy, laid back riffs and  nice screams. The whole album has a nice fuzzy sound that works really well for their style. Check it out.

Boys and Sex-EP

Indian Summer-Discography

I'm going to enlighten those of you who haven't heard this yet. This is classic emo from the 90's, and this band defined the 90's screamo sound and laid the groundwork for the modern day screamo sound. They were one of the first to use quiet and loud dynamics in their songs to build intensity and show emotion. This album is a must have for any fan of the screamo/emo sound.

On an unrelated note, please go to http://almightyclams.org/?ref=3873 and spin the wheel once(or many times if you want to try and win a free premium account on megaupload or rapidshare) but yeah everyone of you that does that increases my chances of eventually winning an account so please do it, I'm going to need some kind of premium account somewhere for all this music so I might as well try to get one for free =].

SHOW-The saddest Landscape/Calculator @ Carrion Springs House;OR

Go Support these two awesome bands if you can.

The Tallest Man On Earth-Sometimes The blues is just a passing bird EP

"Behind the name The Tallest Man On Earth is Kristian Matsson (born April 30th, 1983 in Dalarna, Sweden). He plays guitar, banjo and piano and has released two full length albums, the first entitled Shallow Grave and the second entitled The Wild Hunt. He has also released a self-titled 5-track EP on the Swedish label gravitation, as well as a second 5-track EP entitled Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird, recently released on Dead Oceans.

The Tallest Man On Earth is known for his very charismatic raw voice. He is often compared to Bob Dylan, who shared his raw vocal style and folk-based musical style.

He was formerly the front man in Montezumas"-last.fm

Beautiful Folk Music, I love this.

Verdens Ende-Ostergaten 20

Lo-fi droneish music with some really sweet acoustic melodies mixed in. I picked this up off another blog a while ago and recently started to listen to it again. He said he's making big things in 2011.

Merchant Ships-For Cameron

This was the last ep from screamo band Merchant ships. The singer and guitarist went on to form William Bonney. All the classic screamo elements are here, layered  vocals, twangy guitars, sing alongs. Download this if you don't already have it. Really talented kids.

Merchant Ships-For Cameron

Here's them playing a live set.

Beau Navire-Hours LP, Life Moves LP

Beau Navire are an awesome screamo band. Their new album "hours" immediately became one of my favorites. I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it. "cloud city", "Remnants" and "it's not art it's a myth" are my favorite tracks. Life Moves is an older album from them, they have the same general sound but are more chaotic and the recording gives it a nice raw sound. They also feature members of Loma Prieta Anywhere here's both albums and a video.

Her Breath on Glass-Self Titled 6"

I'm pretty sure this is a side project of the singer of The saddest Landscape, if you like them you'll probably like this. This 2 song ep is filled with emotion, I heard they have a lp too but I can't find it. Whatever.

Her breath on glass-Self Titled 6"

Hightide Hotel-Porchluck

Hightide hotel is a sweet emo, indie rock sounding band. I posted their acoustic ep before, but this definately has a more mathy, emotive sound too it. I think they share members or a member with snowing with something like that, I'm not to sure. Get this.

The Candyland Carcrash-Self titled 7"

The candyland carcrash was a short lived emo group in 90's. As far as I know, they only released this 7" and a split 7" with a band called seraphim. They are an amazing example of the 90's screamo sound. Download this shit.

Candyland Carcrash-self titled 7"

Candyland Carcrash/Seraphim Split 7"

Adobe Homes/Beau Navire-Split

Both of these awesome screamo bands put down a song for this split. Adobe home's song is fast and intense, Beau Navire's song starts off rocking and slowly fades out. I'm too high to come up with  better description right now but check it out.

Maths-Ascent

New(i think) EP from screamo gods Maths. These guys are good at what they do.

Punch-Eyeless EP

Angry, fast, raw, female fronted hardcore. They have a few releases but this is the only one I have, I'll probably grab some others soon. Also, their vegan and straight edge as hell for what that's worth.

Algernon Cadwallader-Parrot Flies

Algernon Cadwallader has a completely unique sound and they rock. Their music makes me feel so happy! This is their newest full length, and it rocks. I'll probably post their live ep and other lp at some point, because I love this band. Their from philly and feature members of Halfway to Holland. This sounds like what the new algernon cadwallader would sound like. enjoy.

Ampere-Like Shadows

New Ampere, fuck yeah.

"Ampere is an American hardcore band based in Amherst, Massachusetts known for their short (10-15 minutes) but extremely loud and intense live shows. The band has put the importance of DIY hardcore punk ethics at the forefront of their lyrics and are renowned for the particular attention they bring to their vegan principles.

The members of the bands have been involved in the DIY hardcore scene for a number of years with the most notable being guitarist Will Killingsworth , who played guitar in Orchid, Laceration and Bucket Full of Teeth and who continues to run his Clean Plate record label and Dead Air recording studio where the band records all of their music. Drummer Andy Skelly played drums in both The Last 40 Seconds and Wolves, Stephen’s previous bands were montcalm and The Last 40 Seconds; he currently also plays guitar in Aerosols and briefly ran Distort, an independent record store in Northampton, Massachusetts (May ‘06 - December ‘06). Meghan played bass in Stop the Clock and Unicoroner and sang in Relics.

Much like Orchid, Ampere (especially earlier albums such as “All Our Tomorrows End Today”) often borrow some of their intense lyrics from philosophers and revolutionaries such as Guy Debord. They have preserved some of the “intellectual” punk seen in bands like Orchid, Sinaloa, Native Nod, Current, and others. While some view their lyrics as pretentious and obscure, Ampere has persisted in their belief that intellect and art make the best emotive hardcore."-Last.fm
