The Tallest Man On Earth-Sometimes The blues is just a passing bird EP

"Behind the name The Tallest Man On Earth is Kristian Matsson (born April 30th, 1983 in Dalarna, Sweden). He plays guitar, banjo and piano and has released two full length albums, the first entitled Shallow Grave and the second entitled The Wild Hunt. He has also released a self-titled 5-track EP on the Swedish label gravitation, as well as a second 5-track EP entitled Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird, recently released on Dead Oceans.

The Tallest Man On Earth is known for his very charismatic raw voice. He is often compared to Bob Dylan, who shared his raw vocal style and folk-based musical style.

He was formerly the front man in Montezumas"-last.fm

Beautiful Folk Music, I love this.

Verdens Ende-Ostergaten 20

Lo-fi droneish music with some really sweet acoustic melodies mixed in. I picked this up off another blog a while ago and recently started to listen to it again. He said he's making big things in 2011.

Shwayze and Cisco Adler-The W's Free Digital EP

If you didn't get this off their site get it here. They went back to the more laid back, acoustic sound of their first album (I was really happy to find this out) instead of that weird electronica sound they went for with the other album. Anyway this ep is really good, and if your a fan of shwayze like me, you'll love it.

I'm going to stop rambling now because I'm not even sure if this post makes sense, fuck it *bong rip*(really though...)

Hightide Hotel-Secret Somethings (Acoustic Ep)

"Hightide Hotel is a noodle-y emotive punk band from Philadelphia. Members include Benjamin Schmidt, Christopher Thomas, and David Sampson.

Sound like they don’t have beards because they can’t grow beards."-last.fm
I'm quite a fan of Hightide Hotel's mathy emo rock, but when you combine that with soft acoustic guitars and singing throughout (instead of the occasional yelling) you get something beautiful. This EP is amazing and I haven't stopped listening to it since I've got it.
